Bringing Traditional Photography to Boomtown Festival
With over 77,000 attendees, Boomtown is one of the UKs biggest music and arts festivals.
As part of the walkabout entertainment in Boomtown's 1920s inspired Copperwood area Well Lit Photo Club provided pinhole and portraiture to over 600 people over three blazing hot days.
Over 50 Boomtowners took pinhole exposures in our pre-loaded cameras. Each image captured a moment in time with exposures capturing 20 seconds or more. Some Boomtowners waited 2 days for their perfect moment.
With our unique DIY Lego Large Format camera we ensured portraiture was fun and spontaneous. We took over 150 portraits on a variety of vintage photo papers.
